Coochie Adventure – Boating Buddies First Meetup 🚤

Join us for our very first South East Queensland Boating Buddies adventure as we head over to Coochiemudlo Island for a relaxed day on the water and onshore.

Whether you have a boat, kayak, tinny, sailboat — or just an interest in boating and island adventures — this event is for you.

Getting there:
• 🚙 Trailering or roof racks: There’s a great public boat ramp at Victoria Point, conveniently located next to the VMR.
• ⛴️ No boat? No worries: The 50c passenger ferry runs regularly to Coochiemudlo Island and is an easy way to join the crew.

What to expect:
• 🏖️ A beautiful beach for swimming and relaxing
• ⚓ Good anchorage with solid holding for larger boats
• ☕ A great local café for coffee, food, and a casual bite to eat
• 👋 A chance to meet fellow boating enthusiasts, swap stories, and make new boating buddies

This is a casual, no-pressure meetup — come for part of the day or stay longer, weather and conditions permitting. Bring your own food, drinks, sunscreen, and good vibes.

Boating is always better with a boating buddy — so come say g’day, enjoy the island, and help kick off what we hope will be many shared adventures to come.
