Come spend an hour out in the remarkable darkness of Sequoia & Kings Canyon and enjoy some of the darkest skies in all of California! In this program you will learn backyard astronomy tips and tricks to navigate the night sky, hear cultural and scientific stories about the stars and planets, and learn the latest information about space exploration and discoveries. Bring a flashlight and perhaps a cozy blanket to lie on as you enjoy the wonders of the night sky.

Distance: Approximately 1/2 mile round trip.
Ages: All. Children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

Bring: Dress warmly, bring an optional flashlight and blanket.
