Android to Linux, a Kotlin Journey -- unleashing the power of KMP using GraalVM

Details
Important note: We're once again meeting at Belgrade Office Park. Just like last time, the building's security will not let you come in unless your name is on the list. If your name differs from your MeetUp profile name, let us know - we'll pass the information on so that you can get inside the building.
Welcome to our February meetup!
This time, Nemanja and Ognjen will take you on a (Kotlin) journey from Android to Linux.
How would you share code between Android and Linux platforms? And what does Kotlin Multiplatform have to do with it? And can you do it without a JVM?
Our speakers will first show you how to transform your Android app to a Kotlin Multiplatform project.
Then, they'll delve into how to utilize GraalVM to build a native version of the Linux app, enabling it to run on embedded hardware without the need for a JVM.

Here's a little something about our speakers:
Nemanja Božović - Android Developer | Navigation specialist
Nemanja is an experienced Android developer specializing in navigation projects at TomTom.
With a dedication to crafting high-quality products and a strong emphasis on rigorous testing, he ensures that every navigation experience is seamless and reliable.
When not shaping the future of navigation technology, he can be found skiing, diving, or riding, embracing the thrill of adventure.
Ognjen Šubarić is an Android developer with a passion for Kotlin and a keen interest in architecture, particularly within Android and Kotlin Multiplatform projects.
Despite initially finding UI development less enjoyable, he discovered a new appreciation for it through experiences with Jetpack Compose. Outside of work, he enjoys participating in sports, playing video games, and spending quality time with friends.
