Special Santa - Gifts for Micah Kids

Micah Ministry (http://www.ibcckc.org/htdocs/micah_ministry.html) serves those in need every Monday evening — giving food, clothing and other necessary items, but during the holidays they ask volunteers to play the role of Special Santa. Please comment with child you’d like to adopt for the holidays and meetup at the library with your gift. We will deliver these the following Monday to Micah.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Comment with the # and Child's name you want to adopt

2. Choose 2 items on child’s list (add small extras if you wish)

3. Leave gifts unwrapped & deliver by Dec 12th.

Do the best you can with the items described, we won’t have a way to get additional details, but the children will be so happy to get any of these gifts and parents grateful. If you’re unable to meet at the Library on Dec. 12th please message Ruth (https://www.meetup.com/ServeKC/members/13158352/) to coordinate an alternative meeting time and place before the deadline. We will deliver the gifts to Micah on Monday, Dec. 14th.

MEETUP @ the Plaza Library Small Meeting Room from 11:30am - 2:00pm to drop-off your items. After entering main entrance, walk past circulation desk, turn right, and you will see 'Small Meeting Room'. Parking garage has 'library parking only area. DONATIONS: New and gently used shoes, clothing, books & toys are always welcome at the Micah Children's Clothing Pantry. You can bring your items to our drop-off date at the Library or directly to Micah on Monday evenings at 5pm or by contacting the Independence Boulevard Christian Church (http://www.ibcckc.org/htdocs/contact.html). Serve KC volunteers twice a month at Micah on the 2nd & 4th Monday.
