Serverless Applications & an interesting use case

Hello folks,

I am happy to announce the first Serverless Zurich meetup, to be held on 22nd June at 18:30 in ZHAW School of Engineering (https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Lagerstrasse%2041%2C%20Z%C3%BCrich).

We will have two very interesting talks in this first meetup:

• Serverless Applications: Tools, Languages, Providers and Challenges by Josef Spillner

There is a jungle of technologies and choices when it comes to serverless computing. This topic became very hot just recently. It will surely gain importance as glue functionality and device connectivity increases. This talk structures the technological landscape to keep up with what is happening. Through slides and mini-demos, I will present what is available in the serverless world, what are commonalities, what are differences, how to get involved quickly, and what we can expect soon based on recent research work.
