Talks
🎤 Better Service Experiences - James Chudley (Experience Director at cxpartners)
We know that the best services result in great experiences for the people who use them but what exactly are the qualities of a great service experience?
In order to find out we've reflected on the things that people tell us that they value the most about the services they use.
We've used these to create a set of design principles for better services, all written from the perspective of the service user.
In this session we'll introduce a few of the principles and share how you can use them to help to design, evaluate and continually improve the services you work on.
🗣 About the speaker
James is an Experience Director at cxpartners where he helps public sector clients to improve their services, embed human centred design practices and transform their organisations.
🎤 Communicating with Confidence - Hannah Kirkbride (The Research Objective)
Our confidence has a massive impact on our lives and careers. Many people think confidence is something you are born with, you either have it or you don’t, but confidence is a skill that can be learned. This talk explores how to better communicate with confidence and get your ideas heard.
🗣 About the speaker
Hannah is a User Researcher with a background in Product Design. She studied Product Design Engineering and since then has worked at consumer tech companies including Dyson and Elvie. She is fascinated by the human experience, both in relation to product development and life in general.
