⦿ Tri-City Service Design Drinks
This is an experiment. Our first prototype.
In a world where, suddenly geographical distances have collapsed, new opportunities abound. We can harness the collective mental energies and intellect of people despite the physical distance that separates them. This Tri-City meet up is our one such endeavour where we would like to bring design communities of three wonderful, global cities together to share what we know, and know what we don't yet!
We are absolutely excited and would be delighted to have you along with us, to discuss the kind of future we can shape for ourselves, and RESTART : POST COVID.
We have been actively doing meetups in our respective cities, this time the confluence would be larger, and hopefully more impactful.
⦿ Programme
• Tri-City SDD Opening & Settle in
by Jiahui (Kay) Zhou (Designit) with an intro exercise led by Yara Dobra (iconstorm)
• Conversation: Service Economy Post Covid?
With Nav Qirti (ideactio) and Tim Heiler (iconstorm)
In February 2020, we started a meaningful discussion about the place of Service Design in a transforming society. Assuming we’d meet in person again soon, we now find ourselves in this new reality. For this Tri-City SDD, we will discuss on where design can go: Which new ideas and practices are emerging right now?
• Sharing: Newnormal open lab
From Misaki Tsuchiyama, Mai Saito, Raphael Hode (Designit)
At Designit Tokyo, we were curious to foresee where the current behavior shifts caused by Covid-19 might take us, so we organized a Remote Open Lab, where 28 participants from 10+ nationalities speculated on possible post-covid scenarios. From Time-Restricted Transportation to Virtual Job Ads, the outcomes of our Open Lab are intended to make possible futures more tangible, to spark thoughts and conversations on present design decisions.
• Meaningful Participation: Life Post-Covid
Facilitated by Felix Mollinga (Ideactio)
A self-organised co-creation session in breakout rooms with all participants, to create something useful for a post-covid world.
