Service Design YYC

Service Design YYC is all about growing the practice of human-centred, collaborative, and holistic design. We exist to further the profile of service design in Canada through building an inspiring local community.

You don’t need to be a “service designer” to get involved with service design or human-centred design (though preferably you are a human). People who use these practices come from a variety of roles: UX designers, researchers, management consultants, psychologists, engineers, and developers (to name a few). If you’re interested in the how businesses, governments, and other organizations can get better at putting humans at their centre, this is what this community is all about!

Whether you’re a seasoned SD practitioner, or you’ve just heard of it for the first time, you can feel welcome at this meetup. We’d also love your feedback on how you’d like to see this community take shape as it grows. Our metaphorical “door” is always open.
