Welcome to the San Fernando Valley Service Dog Playgroup!
This group is for professionally trained service dogs and working dogs—including retired dogs, career-changed dogs, and current and former guide dogs.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals with disabilities and working dog handlers to allow their dogs to interact and play in a controlled environment. Please note that we have a one-strike policy for aggressive behavior, and no aggressive dogs will be allowed to participate.
We will discover public parks that are suitable for the playgroup focused in the Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village and Burbank areas... location recommendations welcome!
Important Rules:
- Dog Training Verification: All dogs must be verified for professional training to participate in the group.
- Health and Safety: Some attendees may be immunocompromised, so we ask that everyone maintains social distancing. If you wish to get closer to someone, please ask first.
