Social Design
Details
Aloha Serv Labbers!
Welcome to another virtual edition of our meetup. This month we’re focusing on social design hearing from people who have worked on social issues to create a better society for us. We’ll hear about using personal experiences in social design in an environment where social impact isn’t the focus, creating social impact through crowdsourcing and how our design choices within our cities help platform structural racism.
We will hear from:
Matteo Remondini - Service Designer at Idean
Gita Luz - Innovation Lead at Action for Children
Araceli Camargo - Lab Director at The Centric Lab
Full bios and description of the talks coming soon, some are here!

How to join
We'll host the event on Zoom. As soon as you purchase the ticket you will be able to see the link on the event's details on this page (on a computer screen is usually on the top right corner - right under the date and time). You will need to have downloaded Zoom, then you just click the link and you will be in.
More info on Zoom https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-Meeting.
Make sure the name you are using for accessing the zoom call is the same you have here on meetup, this is our only way to figure out who bought the ticket and let people in!
You can choose to have your own video on or off, we will mute everyone during the presentation and when you join so anyone won't be able to hear you unless you unmute.
