2026 SD:DC Summer Social

Hi SD:DC!
Join Service Design DC and our friends at MediaBarn for our annual Summer Social, a relaxed evening dedicated to connection, conversation, and community.

This is your chance to:

• Meet fellow service design practitioners, students, and enthusiasts from across the DMV.
• Swap stories about current projects, sticky challenges, and ideas you are eager to test.
• Find your next collaborator, mentor, mentee, hiring manager, or future teammate.

We will have light, low-pressure activities (including our fan-favorite Service Design Bingo) to help break the ice and spark meaningful conversations, but the focus of the night is networking and building relationships.

Whether you are looking to get hired, hiring for your team, sharing an idea, or simply curious about service design, you are welcome. Bring a friend or coworker, come as you are, and stay for the energy of a community that loves designing better services together.
