Free Demo and Board Games at The Armchair Adventurer!
Tonight's free demo is Near and Far: Amber Mines, at 6:00pm. This is the first expansion to Near and Far and includes modules that you can add or remove according to your preferences. Check out the Amber Mines, the Mystic’s Hut, the new General Store, and some new Threat cards. As many of you know, every Thursday night at The Armchair Adventurer is reserved for Board Games from 5:00pm to closing (10:00pm). There are 10 tables to play on, and it's always great to see them filled with people sharing games and enjoying each other's company. Not only that, there's another few thousand square feet of play space in the food court! So come on down and play! It's great if you can bring a game or two, especially if there's one that you really want to play, but there's no obligation to do so. Also, make sure to watch these postings for announcements of upcoming game demos or other fun events! And remember: if you can't make it at the start time, no worries! Just show up when you can. See you at the Armchair!

What we're about

This group is setup to bring interested board gamers together for a few hours of gaming. We have been meeting every other Saturday at one house quite regularly. We want to expand on that calendar. We are trying to increase the number of venues so we don't have too much crowding at any one house, and we can be more convenient to people all over the island. So if you have a particular favorite game, but could never play because you just could not find 8 players, or you just want to host a game night, please email Ray or Bob & Wanda any details and they will post them on the group calendar for you.

There are also impromptu times and locations for playing specific games or open gaming.

VERY IMPORTANT -- PLEASE RSVP TO HOST'S GAME NIGHTS IF YOU ARE GOING TO ATTEND. don't worry about RSVPing with a "no". Any given host might only want 'X' number of people due to limited parking, tables, chairs, space, etc.

The Games we play:

We play almost any game. From the long duration simulations/strategy gems to the lighter family oriented games.

Feel free to contact us for more information.
