The MDC property is a restored salt marsh and features a number of habitats, native plants, and views. We may see herons, ospreys, songbirds, egrets, pelicans, eagles, wading, flying, feeding.
>>>> NOTE: we will also have a look at the new Motus tower, and the Project Purple Martin site! The 2026 gourd-raising event is Sat Jan 17, 10am, also at MDC.
MEET at the Plants 4 Birds gardens near the Project Purple Martin site, park in the west lost near the new kayak launch.

Oct - April, Experienced SEVAS members lead these walks for both beginning and avid birders. The walks are free and open to the public. Each site offers different birds and a chance to visit a variety of natural areas. Meet at 8am and plan to spend about two hours.
Let us know if you are going! Bring binoculars, water, bug spray, snacks, etc, and dress for the weather.
