Want to take better photos of the natural world—but feel unsure as to how to use all those camera settings?

Join us for a two-part Nature Photography Class led by local photographer and birder David Baker, designed for all skill levels and all camera types—from iPhones to point-and-shoots to DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Open to all. Pre-Registration Required.

Instructor: David Baker
Dates: Thursdays, February 19 & 26
Time: 9–11am both days
Location: Marine Discovery Center
(lecture hall + outdoor grounds)

Each session includes:
45–60 minutes of illustrated lecture, theory, and discussion, then 1-hour hands-on practice in the field.

It takes time to build skills, discern different techniques and styles, but connecting with other nature enthisiasts and getting out into the field can sustain wellbeing and become a hobby for life.
