South East Valley .NET Newbies - Virtual Meet & Greet, Where Should We Go?

Details

Come one, come all!

  • Interested in learning software development using .NET?
  • Not sure what .NET has to offer?
  • Think .NET is only for Microsoft products? (It's open source)
  • What is .NET?

Let's chat!
I'm hosting a low-key event to get to know you all a little better. During our Meet and Greet, we'll discuss things like how often we should meet and where, what topics are of value, and maybe even ask the question of: Why learn how to write software in a world possessed by AI?

Food for Thought:

  1. In-Person events are often best for newbies who may need assistance with setting up and configuring environments on a wide range of devices. The challenge with in-person events is with a number of the old haunts now closed, should we find a new "home base" to teach and learn for all who join?
  2. This group was a passion for its organizer, Bruce Lackore. May he rest in peace. It was his persistent spirit for teaching the next generation to think like engineers and not simple coders that this group exists. However this space may evolve as your personal and professional development group, it was a noble vision worth continuing. Bruce was always less about coding and more about the values of WHY and HOW we make decisions in (mostly) .NET software development.
  3. This MeetUp group is not an island. We are inclusive, local, and always looking for unbiased help with relevant topics, speakers, and educational outreach. Have an idea? Share it!
