What we’re about

Seventh Taste: Soulful Connections with Soul Food

In the Vedic tradition, there are six tastes — sweet, salty, sour, bitter, astringent, and pungent. The seventh taste is something beyond flavor: the joy of eating.

At Seventh Taste, I cook modern vegetarian meals prepared with intention and simplicity. The food is inspired by the sciences that shaped Indian culinary wisdom, yet rooted in the present moment — nourishing both body and spirit.

Each gathering recalls timeless traditions: people sitting together, as if under a tree, sharing wholesome meals and meaningful conversations. Depending on the setting, dishes are offered self-service or woven into a curated event.

Alongside the food, we open conversations that span consciousness, Ayurveda, Vaastu, quantum physics, and philosophies that bridge East and West.

Seventh Taste is about connection, presence, and joy — one meal, one conversation, one community at a time.

  • Have you ever questioned what “everything is connected” really means?
  • What if the world is pure energy vibrating beneath our feet?
  • Sometimes we hear “you are what you eat,” yet maybe the real truth is “you are what you don’t eliminate.”
  • Why does science race forward in one place while elsewhere mornings begin with stone mills and ancient rhythms?
  • How do parallel universes unfold timelines side by side, and can we glimpse them at all?

These kinds of questions have guided my journey through geospatial innovation, explorations of consciousness, physical and mental health, and the spiritual sciences of Vaastu, Ayurveda, and Yoga. I’ve built bridges between data and meaning, research and ritual, technology and soul.

Food isn’t just fuel; it’s my passion and mentor. Twenty years ago, I embraced bitter notes that balance sugar’s pull and deepen my palate. This is mindful eating: awareness that births love, intention that sparks joy.

The Vedas honor six tastes: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, astringent, and pungent. Yet when eating turns into connection and purpose, a new dimension emerges. I call it the seventh taste.

September 28th marks our opening circle for The Seventh Taste. Join me for:

  • Warm introductions with an invitation to show up exactly as you are
  • Honest exploration through questions that spark something real
  • Nourishing dialogue offering moments to feed both heart and mind
  • And a fresh-made simple vegetarian meal to connect over!

This isn’t a lecture or performance. We’ll form a circle shaped by my journey as scientist, innovator, seeker, and foodie and step together into a space for reflection, connection, and delight. This is an invitation into presence, joy, and community — a first step into the seventh taste.

The seventh taste begins here.
