What we’re about
Welcome to Carpinteria’s Sewing and Mending workshop. Do you have pants that need shortening? A shirt that needs mending? Do you have a project that never seems to progress? We are a group of beginner to experienced sewers looking to keep more fabric items out of landfills and more money in our pockets by patching our old clothing and up-cycling “new to us” resale clothing and other fabric projects. Bring your sewing machine and projects and make new friends while you’re at it. All skill levels and age groups welcome. And if you are experienced, you can share your knowledge by guiding others.
