Dart is a new programming language for structured web programming. The Dart project includes a language, libraries, a virtual machine, and even an IDE. It also takes a fresh look at DOM and HTML interfaces. Join Seth Ladd, a Developer Advocate with the Chrome team, as he gives a tour of Dart and its motivations.

Speaker Bio

Seth Ladd is currently a Developer Advocate at Google. He produced Aloha on Rails, the Hawaii Ruby on Rails and Web Development Conference (http://alohaonrails.com/) and is producing New Game, the conference for HTML5 game developers (http://www.newgameconf.com/). Way back, he wrote Expert Spring MVC book (http://www.amazon.com/Expert-Spring-Flow-Experts-Voice/dp/159059584X). He was lucky enought to help release Angry Birds for the web (http://chrome.angrybirds.com/). Seth is currently on the board of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (http://www.interactive.org/).
