Community Teach-In: From South Asia To Palestine

Assalaamu Aleikum. MPV is cosponsoring this Teach-In with a number of community organizations. The Alliance of South Asians Taking Action, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Hindus for Human Rights will jointly present on the ideologies of Hindutva and Zionism, offering brief political histories of both. We will underline the commonalities between the two ideologies and discuss the relationship between them, specifically in the US context, We will consider what they might have in common with white Christian Nationalism. There will be concrete examples from contemporary politics, specifically including California.
