**Bobby Fishkin: Systems Innovator & Co-Founder of CrowdDoing**
Bobby Fishkin is the co-founder of **CrowdDoing**, a global initiative helping virtual volunteers collaborate to tackle complex social, economic, and environmental challenges. CrowdDoing is a partnership between Reframe It Inc. and the Match4Action Foundation, active for more than seven years building bridges between changemakers, researchers, and practitioners around the world.
One of CrowdDoing’s flagship efforts is **Catastrophic Wildfire Prevention**, which Bobby co-leads with Claudia Brenner. This initiative explores how collective action can reduce wildfire risks while regenerating ecosystems and strengthening local resilience. The project identifies underused regional capacities—across air, water, and fire basins—and brings diverse stakeholders together to create scalable, cooperative solutions. CrowdDoing’s wildfire prevention model connects social innovation, data analytics, and finance, showing how communities and institutions can align incentives to protect shared natural and economic systems.
Bobby has presented CrowdDoing’s wildfire prevention work at the **Skoll World Forum**, the **Society of Adaptation Professionals**, and the **United Nations Office of Disaster Risk Reduction’s ARISE network conference**. His talks highlight how aligning stakeholder self-interest can drive prevention efforts that benefit entire ecosystems—human, natural, and economic alike.
Before co-founding CrowdDoing, Bobby founded **Reframe It**, a civic technology company focused on participatory problem-solving and deliberative democracy. He facilitated large-scale consultations with organizations like **TechCrunch**, the **Knight Foundation**, and the **Silicon Valley Community Foundation**, and has presented internationally on citizen collaboration and impact innovation—from **Geneva** to **Toronto**, **Hayward**, and beyond.
Bobby’s work spans impact investing, public consultation, and systems change strategy. His collaborations include **Marin County**, the **Marin Community Foundation**, and **Total Impact Advisors** on Social Impact Bond feasibility, as well as research for the **Center for Global Development** on participatory governance in **Tanzania**. Earlier, he co-led **Haiti.com**, which enabled thousands of online volunteers to help first responders through digital mapping after the 2010 earthquake.
Outside of social innovation, Bobby has a creative background in theatre—writing and producing plays in **London**, **Texas**, and **New York City**—and has received recognition for his collective intelligence work, including the **McKinsey/Harvard Business Review Management 2.0 Challenge Award**. His early initiatives, such as **Books For Teachers** and **ACCESS Baltimore (Arts Creating Community Energy and Social Solutions)**, highlight his lifelong commitment to community development through creativity and connection.
