Event Description:

One of the most daunting steps in any developer, engineer, or data scientist's career is the first coding challenge. These challenges are a universally used method for assessing the strength of a coder, applied by nearly every company employing programmers. Furthermore, these challenges are often designed to prepare you for more complicated, business problems related to these tasks. As such, it is an essential skill to begin developing early on in your career in coding.

Join Galvanize for a breakdown of methods and techniques for taking on these technical challenges. In this session, your instructor will tackle three Python challenges developed to be similar in practice to those you may find on free resources like Leetcode or CodeWars. As we go along, strategies, common mistakes to avoid, and best practices for these challenges will be discussed in depth. Afterwards, we will close with a group worked challenge, and you will be able to see your abilities improve in real time!
