SF Pastel People go to China Beach
Details
It's our summer October so let's take a chance of being by the ocean. Our meetup will be at CHINA BEACH, a secluded cove in Sea Cliff with picturesque views of the Marin Headlands and Golden Gate Bridge, and named to honor early Chinese fishermen who camped there during the Gold Rush.
There does seem to be porta potties but no shade; some parking and bus service near by (38 Geary and 1 California). It's a bit of a walk down to the beach but worth it!!!
At 1pm I’ll be on the roof of the recreation building just as you hit the beach. You can stay there or find a different spot.
At 3:30 we come back to the roof to look at our work.
Alway bundle in layers, we never know how that wind and fog will treat us!! And hope for sun!!!!
Bring your pastels, paper, a board, tape, something to sit on, and baby wipes as well as your water and sunscreen.
