Drupal CMS 2.0 was just released — and with it, Drupal Canvas has officially landed.

Join the San Francisco Drupal Users Group for a timely deep dive into Drupal Canvas, Drupal’s new visual site-building tool, with long-time Drupal contributor and author Matt Glaman.

In this session, Matt will move beyond simple page editing and show how Canvas can be used as a powerful site-building system. You’ll learn how to:

  • Manage global headers and footers through regions
  • Use content templates to fully control node displays
  • Package configurations using Recipes to create repeatable site templates

Matt Glaman is the author of The Drupal 10 Development Cookbook and a long-time contributor to Drupal core, contributed modules, and documentation. He has been deeply involved in major Drupal transitions, including Drupal 10 readiness, and is known for making complex Drupal concepts accessible and practical.
Whether you’re evaluating Drupal CMS 2.0, curious about Canvas, or looking for real-world guidance from someone close to its development, this session will give you a clear picture of what’s possible today.
