Drupal's motto has long-been "Come for the software, stay for the community." There is a crucial third point that impacts both whether people come to the community and how long they stay in it: the quantity & quality of opportunities.

Many think the only viable option is to work on large Drupal projects. But where do we turn when the enterprise market slows down?
There are existing actionable opportunities to create new revenue streams with Drupal - for builders, designers, and even people in sales.

In the US, 99.9% of all businesses are classified as small businesses. There is a massive opportunity to serve them, and our ecosystem is reaching a point where that can be done profitably.

Additionally, opportunities are available to "sell sites, not hours". Again, our ecosystem is recently providing services to facilitate this work. Both from the perspective of creating "Site templates" and using Drupal to create SaaS products.

In this talk, we'll go over how to effectively use Drupal for smaller projects, new resources such as Drupito and the Drupal Association's marketplace, using Drupal to build SaaS products, as well as other opportunities that enable earning via collaboration over competition and are open to all.
