Hidden Treasures of Bohemian Grove !

photo adventure ! Its also a great Dog friendly outing !
******We meet in the Petaluma Fairgrounds lot in front of the Library.
** ****Meet time is around 9:45 am. We will car pool from this location.
Wear rugged shoes, bring a jacket & a small lunch. I will have lots of good
snacks, water & other drinks & hiking poles for you to use if you wish.
****** We will head to this very small quaint hamlet, called Occidental .
Near here is the hidden Bohemian Grove forest ! Our starting point will have
us creek crossing, & scrambling over & along the creek . Our first stop will
be at a waterfall.. Here is where it gets interesting for some photos !
****** The trails meander back into the deep canyons with several bridge
crossings. WE will have our lunch break in a meadow with water and a
bathroom. This trek is slow & adventurous & only maybe 4 to 5 miles .
We also have an option to stop in town at the historic Union hotel for a
light early dinner or maybe some of their great pizza ! Since I'm their lost
Son returning home, Super yummy Brochettas will be on the house !
Meetup dues donation is only $22. & guests are $15. Kids & dogs are
