Symfony 6.1 goes PHP 8.1

The Symfony User Group from Aveiro is back with an interesting talk from Alexander M. Turek, he will be talking to us about "Symfony 6.1 goes PHP 8.1":

Symfony 6.1 goes PHP 8.1

Symfony 6.1 is about to be released and it will raise the minimum PHP version to 8.1. This is quite an unusual step for Symfony. We will look into the problems the core team faced while modernizing the codebase which ultimately lead to the decision to abandon PHP 8.0. Alexander will give uns some insights about the pros and cons that were discussed and the consequences this step has for downstream projects.
