API with Symfony & PHPitfalls

Details
Hey Symfony Community,
our 12th meetup will be hosted by home24 (https://www.home24.de/) and we are happy to have Asmir Mustafic (https://twitter.com/goetas_asmir) speaking about building simple APIs with Symfony. Besides that there will be a game about pitfalls in PHP.
API with boring code and Symfony by Asmir Mustafic
Code is Bad, more code is worse. This talk will show how is possible to build a rich API but with a minimalist approach from the code point of view.
Expect from this talk a guide on how to build a RESTful (Level 3) API with Symfony in less than a week and with less than 10 lines of code per action.
PHPitfalls a game about PHP
PHP is known for it's quirks and we are pretty sure most of us have cursed some of the inconsistencies and weird behaviors we have encountered in our day to day work. In this segment we want to shed some light on common (and not so common) pitfalls both in the language itself as well as specific to Symfony. We hope to save some of you from falling down those pitfalls and to the very least have some entertainment trying to figure out what happens and why.
We want to organize this similar to the Jeopardy-Event we did back in February. If you have some PHP/Symfony quirks you want to contribute feel free to send them to us via mail: usergroups@sensiolabs.de
