Monolithic Repository & Symfony MakerBundle

Details

Hello Friends of Symfony,

this time we will visit Productsup near Alexanderplatz. We have two talks with a focus on developer experience and development process. Lars Erler will explain how and why they use monolithic repositories and Marco Podien will give us an introduction to Symfony's new way to generate code and kickstarting your Symfony application using code generation.

Introduction to Symfony MakerBundle
Marco Podien

With the rise of Symfony Flex and Autowiring/Autoconfiguring Symfony already saves us from a lot of boilerplate hassle. But there is still something missing. Why do we still have to do so many repetitive steps by hand? Actually, we don’t have to! The Symfony MakerBundle is here to make our DX great again!
Let’s have a look at what the MakerBundle can do for us, how we can integrate it into our workflow, and how we can extend it for our specific needs!
