Started 10/19/10: Calling all Asians in the San Fernando Valley!!! The San Fernando Valley Asian Connection is a group for Asians who live, work, play (or would like to play) in the San Fernando Valley.
While there already are groups for Asians, they are mostly located in the San Gabriel Valley, Long Beach, general Los Angeles and Orange County areas. For those of us who live in the San Fernando Valley, this means driving a minimum of 10 miles and oftentimes much, much more, down the congested 101 or 405 Freeways to participate in meetup events. However, there are a lot of attractions in the San Fernando Valley -- from hiking to dining, art galleries to cultural events, happy hours to festivals -- attractions that are more accessible and convenient for you and me.
So if you are Asian and live/work/play, would like to meet other fun folks in the San Fernando Valley, and would like to explore this segment of Los Angeles County, come join the San Fernando Valley Asian Connection!
