Bizerkeley Food Fest Week Events starting 9/1 at 3 PM

You have been asking for more events and more weeknight events. Your wish has been granted! Here are a full week of vegan festivities leading up to the Annual Bizerkeley Food Fest. You have the opportunity to get a lot of exercise before heading to the food booths on Sunday, 9/7.

• Monday, September 1st: “They’re Trying To Kill Us” Documentary Screening @ Sports Basement Berkeley With Bad Ass Vegan
• Wednesday, September 3rd: Stop Light Party Social Mixer W/ Bay Area Speed Dating And Vegan Chula @ 51 & Tel, Oakland
• Thursday September 4th: Vegan Mac & Cheese Recipe & Tasting Competition @ Travelin Joe’s Berkeley
• Friday September 5th: Creators & Innovators Of Plant Fare Fireside Chat Panel@ The Butcher’s Son, Berkeley
• Saturday September 6th: Vendor Pre-Order & Vip Wristband Pick Up Party @ North Berkeley Bart Station
• Sunday September 7th: Bad Ass Vegan Run Club

Thursday September 4th: Vegan Mac & Cheese Recipe & Tasting Competition @ Travelin Joe’s Berkeley
We are looking for 10 chefs:
5 amateur chefs (cook at home, on youtube, for family and friends) &
5 professional chefs (restaurant, pop up, catering, farmer's market chefs)
to cook for our guests aka your judges! Well one of your judges! We will have two cash prizes for two of our chefs: the people's choice and the judge's winner.
Every guest will receive 10 sample cups,1 from each chef, and vote for their favorite!
The judges will also unanimously choose their favorite winner!
The entry fee for chefs is $35 to cover admin and facility fees.
Tickets are $3 for children, Free for Bizerkeley Food Fest VIP ticket holders*, $7.99 for Adults.
