BYOP Vegan Potluck Beach Picnic Party

🌼HAPPY NEARLY SPRING🌼

🐶BYOP* Bring Your Own Puppy to New Brighton State Beach for a fun in the sun day of puppies and vegan potluck goodness.

🏖A 95-acre park featuring a wide sandy beach and a cliffside campground with views of Monterey Bay.

🚗Parking: There is typically a $10 day-use parking fee. Park in the parking lot by the campsites and then walk to the picnic area. Alternatively, the parking lot overlooking the beach (Brighton State Parking lot) has ample parking, and it is a small trek up the bluffs via Sunset Trail to the campsite picnic area.

🧺Day-Use Picnic Area: Located on the bluffs, these areas feature picnic tables with ocean views and accessibility via trails leading down to the beach. We'll set up there and then walk down after lunch.

🍽Bring a vegan dish or snack to share. Don't forget a reusable plate and cup, napkins, and utensils.

🌊Tides: High tide can significantly reduce the amount of available beach space for walking. 👙Amenities: The park offers showers (bring quarters), restrooms, and picnic areas. I highly recommend you bring towels.

🦮Leash Requirement: Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet at all times.

👀Supervision: Pets must be attended by a human and under control at all times; they can not be left unattended.

*No puppy of your own? 😭 you are still welcome to join if you bring provisions for the potluck and maybe some dog treats too. 🦴🐶
