Biographies:

• Gordon Barr - VMware Tanzu
• Gordon started his IT career on the Help Desk twenty-five years ago. A lifelong learner, he earned multiple Microsoft and VMware certifications working as a data center architect with Dell EMC. Today he helps VMware customers modernize their applications and embrace cloud-native technologies.
• Steve Watkins - VMware Tanzu
• Steve is a platform architect with more than 20 years of enterprise software solutioning. His career has run from manufacturing data collection to ITIL service catalogs to cloud (private and public) to modern applications in containers and Kubernetes. He has worked for small startups and industry giants like Cisco and VMware. His super-power is making complicated subjects like Kubernetes and micro-services simple and consumable by non-experts. He was honored to be a presenter at KubeCon in Detroit last month.
