Biography:

• Bill Roth is the Director of Product Marketing in the Cloud Infrastructure Business Group at VMware, working on developer content and cloud economics. He is a 30-year veteran of the enterprise software industry. He has been a coder, CMO for startups, an evangelist, run product management organizations, an operating executive, and a journalist. He has worked for such companies as BEA, Sun, Morgan Stanley, and several startups. He lives in his adopted home town of San Jose, CA.
