THIS MEETING IS HOSTED ON THE MONTHLY DEV NIGHT! LEARN MORE AT SPRINGFIELD DEVS MEETUP (https://meetup.com/sgfdevs/).

AWS services are designed for high availability and high redundancy, but that does not protect your data from most user errors, system errors, or security incidents.

Join us to discuss backup best practices and the pros/cons of several backup options available for your EC2 virtual servers and your RDS databases. Do you even need to backup your servers? We'll compare DIY solutions to AWS Backup and RDS Snapshots. If time permits, we will also discuss pros/cons of backup options you can use to send S3 data to other regions and to other cloud providers.

Presented by Jason Klein, Logic Forte (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jasnk/).
