HIKING GUY GUIDE TO WHITE MOUNTAINPLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS!!!!!
There are many options:
-camp by the gate the day before
-camp at Grandview
-camp at Big Pine Creek
-stay at a nearby hotel and drive up the morning of summit dayWhatever it may be please let me know in the comments your plans. There is no cell service so if you are committed to going please send me your itinerary. You can email me at Girlhiker70@gmail.com. This is also for safety reason so that I know who to expect and look out for.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE COMMITTING TO THIS HIKE:
-A high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended for the final 16 miles of White Mountain Road due to its rough, dirt road conditions. A 4x4 vehicle is not strictly necessary, but it will make the drive more comfortable and potentially faster.
You can drive the road with a sedan but need to go slow. Take spare tires and be prepared just in case. Please bring a GPS device, a Map or download AllTrails.
STATS:
