Brown Mountain Loop

12 Miles 2500 Feet Elevation Gain. This hike will also visit Dawn Mine an interesting stop about halfway to the summit. This is an advanced hike.

From Loma Alta Drive in Altadena, turn north on Chaney Trail Drive and follow in to the junction atop Sunset Ridge; turn right and park outside the locked gate of Sunset Ridge Fire Rd.
