Hike Islip Saddle to Dawson Saddle

Join me on a shuttle hike starting at Islip Saddle. We'll leave a couple of cars at Dawson Saddle then drive down to Islip Saddle to begin our hike. From here we'll take the PCT to Windy Gap then head east on the PCT to an area just below Throop Peak. This is also the same area where we will connect to the Dawson Trail which leads to Dawson Saddle. This is a well marked trail with some awesome views of the San Gabriels and Sheep Wilderness area. Depending on the group, we can also bag Throop Peak if interested. At the moment I believe the distance to be approximately 10 miles ...but more detailed information will be available in the next few days. Hope to see you there!
