Join me on another festive night of Christmas lights in Altadena.
Christmas Tree Lane is the oldest large scale outdoor Christmas display. The trees on the Santa Rosa Avenue have been lighted annually since 1920. This will be the 104th year of a holiday tradition.
There are 135 cedar trees stretching nearly a mile along Santa Rosa Avenue and are strung with lights by volunteers each year.
Some of the houses are also decorated. One year, one of the residents set up an ugly Christmas sweater photo booth which was very fun. And of course there is always hot cocoa and tasty treats.
