HIDDEN STAIRCASES OF SILVER LAKE

Join me for a fun Urban walk/hike around Silver Lake. We will do a big loop and start/end at the same location.

Our starting point is Alfred Coffee shop.

We will be checking out 7 staircases including the famous Swan Steps which has 3 parts and is the longest of them all. We'll save that for last.

Some of the staircases are famous for being used in the movies. One example is the Music Box stairs that starred Laurel and Hardy .

Because these staircases are steep, narrow, and located within residential neighborhoods, they are often hidden from view but they are available for public use, and many of them have been painted with bright colors and fun designs, adding an extra element of fun.

Afterwards join me for lunch, a short walking distance from the coffee shop where we started.

WHAT TO BRING: A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. snacks, at least 2 liters of water, electrolytes, Lug soles with good tread, poles if you like/have them.
