RAIN CANCELS THE HIKE!!!
I am so excited to hike this trail again. The goal is to go all the way but lets see how far we get. I know there are a few washouts but I heard it is doable. Remember the goal
is safety first. You will have the option to turn around.
We will take a nice break and fuel up at Orchard Camp before ascending the steep trail to Mt. Wilson.
There will be a stream crossing and a few small waterfalls along the way. Be prepared to get your feet wet just in case. I am not sure how much water is in the stream. Poles may be helpful.
We will go at a moderate pace.
We will have lunch at the summit.
If you have somewhere to be later in the day then please do not attend.
We may finish earlier than the posted time. It all depends on the group.
This will be an out n back hike.

gain- 5600 ft (approx)
level- strong intermediate. NO BEGINNERS PLEASE!
parking- free
Please respect parking signs: make sure tires are turned towards the curb or the city will give you a ticket. Also be mindful of the residents and keep your voices at a low volume until we get on the trail.

WHAT TO BRING: A POSITIVE ATTITUDE: !!!
Energy snacks, lunch, at least 3-4 liters of water, electrolytes, sunscreen, hiking boots with good tread, hiking poles, and the
TEN ESSENTIALS !!!
