Middle Cucamonga Canyon

Details
For those of you that waht to avoid the more "popular" trails, here is one for you. I did this on a Sunday, and there wasnt a soul around. Great for me, this canyon has the beauty of the East Fork without the crowds.
Hike Stats:
Elevation gain= 2296
Elevation loss= 1096
Loss/gain difference=1196

Hike description:
We will follow the Cucamonga truck trail for approx. 3 miles to middle Cucamonga canyon. This will account for the majority if our uphill gain. Once we get to the canyon, we will work our way upstream. This will be a wet hike, there is one 3 ft ford along the way, and the way up will be river hiking( ie, water crossings and boulder hopping) I have been to the start of the middle part, but have not gone up yet, Dont want to do it alone, so if anyone is interested, lets check it out! Ive seen plenty of pictures, Ive got to see it for myself.
Directions:
Either way, take the 210 fwy towards Cucamonga. Exit on Carnelian. Take Carnelian north( towards the mountains) to Hillside. Turn left on Hillside and follow it to Sapphire. Make a right on Sapphire and follow it to its end at Almond. Turn right on Almond until you see trailhead parking I will see you there.
