About us
Shadow Puppetry Lovers Collective and Social is a space for anyone with an interest in the history, craft, and performance of shadow theater. Whether you are a seasoned puppeteer, a collector of vintage silhouettes, or simply someone who finds the intersection of light and storytelling fascinating, you will find a home here. We are a community built on shared curiosity and the simple magic of creating images against a screen.
Our gatherings are informal and designed for us to connect, share techniques, and discuss the nuances of different cultural traditions of shadow puppetry. We meet to exchange ideas, talk about upcoming projects, or just enjoy the company of others who appreciate this quiet, luminous art form. We look forward to meeting you and seeing what stories you might want to bring into the light.
