Battletech Mission 3027-04: Watch That First Step!

Ok grunts, listen up!
The time has come to clean up this pirate mess once and for all. The navigational data you recovered on Aberytswyth leads here, to Gillfillan's Gold. Com traffic on the surface suggests that this is the right place, and that the locals are none too pleased to see us. We were hoping to land and unload before we had to go off pirate hunting, but in view of the local response the higher-ups have decided to make a point of seizing the local drop port immediately and basing us there. That makes your first mission to secure the port, seize the control tower and capture the administrative building. Any questions?

Mount up and get ready to drop... I hope none of you are afraid of heights, that first step is a doozy.

Battletech Mission 3027-04: Watch That First Step! is a Missions legal scenario set on the world of Gillfillan's Gold in the Lyran Commonwealth. All materials will be provided. New players are always welcome.

Mission parameters (to help with mech selection):
This is a brawl on a standard 4-map battlefield, where your goal is to capture two heavily defended buildings. Opposition is a combination of mechs, vehicles, and infantry, so a mixed approach is probably a good idea. Oh, and you'll be hot-dropping in, so expect to take damage before you ever get off a shot. Good luck, and may the odds ever be in your favor.
