“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes!”

What better way to kick off the first Shakespeare meetup than with a little witchcraft, murder, and madness just before Halloween?

Join for a relaxed, informal evening discussing Shakespeare's Macbeth! We'll explore the play's themes, characters, and historical context, including the fascinating world of witchcraft, superstition, and politics in Shakespeare's time.

We'll also have the opportunity to read a few scenes aloud for anyone who'd like to participate — but there's absolutely no pressure! You're more than welcome to simply listen, share your thoughts, and enjoy the conversation.

Whether you're a lifelong Shakespeare enthusiast, haven't read a play since high school, or are simply curious, all are welcome!
This isn't a lecture or a formal book club. Think of it as a friendly gathering of people interested in exploring Shakespeare together over good conversation.

No acting experience or Shakespeare expertise required! If you have time to read Macbeth beforehand, wonderful! If not, come anyway.
