Shamanic Open Circle and celebration of Spirit

You are invited to our monthly NYSC Open Circle.

Come and join our shamanic community in a sacred celebration of Spirit. Learn the basic techniques of core shamanism as you journey to meet your Spirit Guides and Power Animals. Deepen your shamanic practice through drumming, chanting, and movement at our monthly Shamanic Circle.

Please bring a drum or a rattle, a pen & notepad, and a bandanna. You may want to bring a pillow, blanket to use when we journey.

The core NYSC group has been practicing healing and journeying work every week since 1997. We work and study with a wide range of powerful indigenous and Western shamans from around the world.

NYSC MISSION

NYSC promotes and supports a shamanic community in New York City. Through our regular gatherings and workshops with shamans from around the world, NYSC seeks to promote earth-honoring living in ways that foster environmental, social and spiritual balance.

Looking ahead, our vision is to establish the New York Shamanic Center, the home for all of NYSC's events, activities and gatherings, including an Annual New York Shamanic Film Festival.
