Sunday Dharma Gathering: "Finding Common Ground”

We warmly invite you to join us for a Sunday Dharma Gathering. All are welcome!

Dharma Gatherings are community events offering a space for both newcomers and experienced practitioners to connect and learn. These gatherings feature meditation instruction and practice, a short talk by guest teachers and open discussion followed by refreshments and socializing.

This Sunday’s topic is "Finding Common Ground" with Rachel Faro:
Between the stories repeated in the media and within our respective tribes — disparate views on politics, religion, the economy and society in general how do we discover what we do have in common? How, as practitioners, can we practice compassion, patience, and insight with those who may not be on the same page as we are in today's world? In this talk and discussion we will address how we can communicate universally and go beyond polarization and aggression to discover our shared humanity.
