Day Hike in Anji on 30th May 2026

Boasted as one of the most beautiful mountains around Shanghai, Jingkongli Grand Canyon is located in Anji and also joint by Yuhang and Lin'an and part of Tianmushan Mountain Range. It's famous for tea plantation, bamboo forest, crystal water and streams (especially in summer/rain season, one of the best summer getaways) and beautiful countryside view. In the summer you can river hiking through the streams and enjoy the cool bath while in other seasons you are also amazed by the stunning views.

Detailed Itinerary

07:50 - Meet at Starbucks @Renaissance Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel near Longxi station of line 10
08:00 - 11:30 Board the minivan and drive to Anji (+/- 3.5 hrs, depending on the traffic)
11:30 - 12:30 Have a short walk in the village to explore a little bit before lunch
12:30 - 13.30 Lunch at local restaurant
13:30 - Drive 20 mins to grand canyon to start the hike over the rocks, and hike through the tea plantation, bamboo forest, golden larch forest till finally reach to the highest village (about 820m above sea level) in the northern Zhejiang province (about 3 hrs depending on pace).
16:30 - 20:00 Board our minivan and drive back to Starbucks, bid farewell to all.
