You’ve built a career. But what do you want to build around it?
Beyond the Job is a relaxed evening for curious professionals who want to step outside the usual work conversations, meet interesting people and exchange perspectives on work, life and what might come next.
You don’t need to be unhappy with your job.
You don’t need to be planning a career change.
And you definitely don’t need a five-year plan.
Maybe you’re simply curious about questions like:
What does success mean to me now?
What do I want more of in my life?
What role do I actually want work to play?
And how are other people at a similar stage thinking about all of this?
The evening will be lightly facilitated, but there is no presentation, no stage and no awkward networking.
We’ll start with a few conversation prompts, talk in pairs and as a group, and leave plenty of space for conversations to develop naturally.
The goal is simple:
Good people. Better questions. New perspectives.
Where?
🌿 If the weather is good:
We’ll meet outdoors at Arboretum / Rentenwiese by Lake Zurich.
☕ If it’s cold or rainy:
We’ll meet indoors at Karl der Grosse, Kirchgasse 14, Zurich.
The final location will be shared via Meetup on the day of the event.
What to bring?
Nothing to prepare.
If we meet outside, bring something warm and ideally something small to sit on. Feel free to bring your own drink.
Most importantly, bring curiosity and your own perspective.
No CVs. No elevator pitches. No need to impress anyone.

Be curious rather than judgemental.
Listen before giving advice.
No pitching, recruiting or selling.
Personal stories stay personal.
Share only what feels comfortable.
This is not coaching, therapy or a traditional networking event.
It’s simply an opportunity to meet people you might not otherwise meet — and have conversations you might not otherwise have.
Come curious. Leave with a few new perspectives — and maybe a few new people in your circle.
