Lounging With Lisane- Monday Meditations: "The Pause: Creating Space Between Stimulus and Response"
There’s Power available in the space between what happens to you and how you choose to respond. Yet so many of us rush right past it and, instead, react out of auto-pilot, fear, or old and ineffective patterns. Jumping to react has us miss to opportunity to stand and respond with clarity and from our Truth.
This Lounging with Lisane session is about reclaiming that space so you give yourself a moment to experience what becomes possible when you're willing to give yourself a minute; so you can check in, choose your words and actions with intention, and then express yourself authentically.
We'll touch base. I'll teach you a few practical tips, and the key question we'll reflect on is: What would be possible if I gave myself more pause? Or what would have been possible had I given myself more pause?
As always, we'll also ground ourselves in a guided meditation - this week it will be focused on the Throat and Third Eye chakras - opening the channels for clear expression, a new perspective, and the peace that comes when we feel centered and aligned.
This session lays the groundwork for our upcoming work with the Communication Model by reminding you that the power to change behavioral patterns begins in the pause.
