Let's sail out to the ocean in a 29.5' Hunter sloop, BeezNeez. Wind and tide permitting, we'll go by the wildlife on the bait barge and the floating dry dock to the tip of Pt Loma, and then down to the SD buoy, or maybe by the Hotel del and Imperial Beach.

No experience required but you will be put to work on the lines. Anyone who wants to can take a turn at the helm (steering the boat).

FULLY VACCINATED CREW ONLY. If you are not fully vaccinated you aren't sailing with me.

Make sure to allow enough time for finding the marina, traffic, and parking (which can be tough on popular fishing days), The marina parking in Lot G (easternmost lot along North Harbor Drive) has the cheapest paid parking, about $8-9 for the day; consider paying for an extra hour in case we come back a bit late. Parking location [https://goo.gl/maps/JLQns4iNuE61v4n8A](Google Maps Parking Location) There is also paid parking in a public lot across North Harbor Dr.

Please send me your phone # and email with your RSVP for last minute changes. Please RSVP as soon as you can.

Cost sharing is completely voluntary but I would appreciate any help toward the cost of chartering the boat, which is about $500 with a crew of 6. Send what you like via PayPal to louiscohen2006@gmail.com or Venmo to @Louis-Cohen-17, or bring cash to the event.

Sailing Introduction

I plan to leave the dock as soon as we can at 11:00 am; if you arrive by 10 am we'll go over some knots and raising and lowering the mainsail, and any other questions you have about sailing. Be on the promenade ready to go no later than 10:45 am. We'll probably be out all day (there is a head on board) so bring food and drinks for yourself, and to share if you like. There is an icebox on board if you want to keep your food and drinks cold.
